Top Local Tips for Truro

Tidal Bore I've heard the tidal bore can be impressive at certain times of the year, but we went to see it twice and the first time it was mildly interesting; and the second time it never came. That said, we met and talked to several people each time from various parts of Canada and the US. We heard a couple interesting stories from a woman that worked as an immigration agent out in Vancouver and a guy from Virginia that has traveled all over the world. I guess he finally decided that he had to come and cross the tidal bore of Truro off his to-do list.

Carved FIgures Be sure you get a map and tour the downtown area to see the many bigger than life carved figures they have throughout the town.
