Great family atmosphere

Held a party for my mother’s 60th birthday and 38th anniversary. We were in their lounge which seats 33 people comfortably (including a few children). Polite and helpful service and great atmosphere.

I arranged a trip for my company to Nova Scotia every year. We’ve stayed at few other hotels in the area (usually Holiday Inn), but thought we would try out the Wandlyn because of its growing reputation. Needless to say it was great – friendly staff, quick service, great atmosphere and a conference room that the Wandlyn staff were willing to re-organize to suit our needs. Everyone loved the pool and gym, which were great to for relaxing after a full day of meetings. Definitely recommend to anyone passing through.

Dirty Amherst, hicks paradise

Who goes to Amherst, there are one or two somewhat slightly redeeming things to say about it but the towns a dump otherwise with NOTHING to discover but Nova Scotian country hicks (only that I liked the great big Tim Hortons which is the best thing about thing about it it sucks otherwise) and the pubs dirty and offputting. The people there are so wild and dirty that I go by the assumption it is infected and diseased like a third world country.
