Dirty...no water...no smoking room smelled like stale ashtray....rude staff....deadbeat Manager...Have e-mailed the hundreds on my contact list warning them of this pit

The brittany inn in lewisport nfld was by far the worst place I have ecer stayed. It has never been renovated and is dirty beond beleif. Iam sure if the health inspetor even goes there he is payed off because it is not legal for something to be that gross. To the manger if you ever read this you should be embarressed

My husband & two children stayed at The Brittany Inn for one night last summer. We arrived after a very long day of driving to a less than friendly desk staff. The rooms were run down and smelled of a well used bar the next day. The comforter and pillow shams were dirty. After accepting the conditions of the rooms, we woke to expect a nice hot shower & to be on our way to continue our journey. Instead, we woke to NO WATER!! Not only could we not take a shower, we couldn't even brush our teeth! Upon confronting the very unfriendly and unaccomodating desk person, we were forced to pay the full price for the room because the "Manager" wasn't there and couldn't be reached. She provided us with the number to contact the manager when we arrived home. Upon arriving home I promptly called the Manager on several occasions, however he was never there or never available. Almost a year has gone by and still I have not heard from the Manager of Brittany Inns. He doesn't have the decency to return my phone calls and has his staff lie to customers that he really isn't there!!! Do not ever stay at this hotel!!!! The owner/manager of this hotel needs to take some lessons in customer service!! Shame on you!!
