Great staff

We had a 2 night stay at the Winsome Inn. Found the rooms to be very comfortable, very nice beds, and clean. Did detect the odor of cat urine at first, and the staff offered to switch our room ASAP, and they came and cleaned the rugs the very next morning and this resolved. This was a very quiet hotel, and the pool was great, clean and warm. Would highly recommend to families with children. Also, the breakfast was adequate with plenty to pick from. Will definitely come back.

We found the Winsome Inn to be a very comfortable place to stay. At first the room had an odor, but the staff promptly cleaned the carpet and this resolved. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very quiet. The pool was clean and warm, the kids loved it. the breakfast was adequate and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely go back and would recommend to families traveling with small children.

This motel was recommended by a local innkeeper who had no rooms available. Another reviewer is correct that the place is dated and overpriced ($106 for two) especially in the off season. Rooms smell musty and furniture is worn and should be replaced. Pillows were lumpy, but the bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast selection was generous and varied.

The beds were very comfortable. The room/bathroom was very clean. The place is very quiet. The owner is very nice and is in the breaksfast room making sure everyone is happy. This is my third summer at the Winsome...the kids love the oversized Adirondack chairs.

We booked this motel based on internet reviews of an average place but we were surprised to find a room much below average. The linens were stained and there were hairs on the sheets, towels and pillows. The bathroom had new fixtures but the plaster was not finished nor properly painted. The room was damp and musty. The breakfast area was too small, the bagels were stale and the toaster did not work.
Positives include a very friendly staff, a surprisingly quiet place to sleep and a great location; near food and shopping.
Overall for the price of $140.00+ a very bad deal; keep driving to St. John NB or St. Andrews.....
Uncomfortable and Over-rated

We stayed here along the way late at night. After driving all day and having to wait at least an hour for the room to warm up enough to get settled for some much needed rest I was not pleased with the accomodations at all. Rooms plain and remote to television broken. Definately chage too much in off season for the accomodations provided.

It was great, the people are very polite and care giving, they try to help as much as possible.The rooms r very nice and clean.When u lay down and relax from a long day of travelling it is sure feels like home, beds r comfortable, and u know the maids r thinking of us.
