We stayed 2 nights at this very nice motel, just a few minutes from the Can/US border.
We were able to park right in front of our room door which was convenient for luggage.
Our room was newly renovated, clean, cozy, comfortable, and the shower was hot. There was a microwave and mini fridge and there was a continental breakfast served in the lobby.
Price was very reasonable!
The innkeeper is very friendly and helpful.
We chose this motel for its location, but felt we got lucky in finding a nice little place to stay, and plan to stay there again when we're back in the area. Maybe next time we'll get to play some horseshoes!

we had a great time at your place the hoarse shoes was very enjoyable and the the size of our cabin was huge. i enjoyed the continental breakfast, and the beds were also comfortable.I had the a great time at the scoodic motel

We stayed there for two nights while visiting in the St. Stephen area. The owner was very friendly. The room we had was very clean and modern. Enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay there again.

wife and I and a chichuachua (small dog) on an eleven day trip to Fortress Louisburg stayed at the Scoodic Motel going and coming. We learned that the best motels (two) are owner operated. The others are adequate but... The place was very clean and very friendly. We just plain liked it and went out of our way to stay there on the way home. These folks just don't tolerate pets they seemed to honestly like them.
When we tour Canada we usually go through St Stephen and. of course, we intend to stay at this motel.

My friend and I were looking for an inexpensive but clean and comfortable place to stay for a night or two while we went sightseeing in New Brunswick. I did a quick internet search and found the Scoodic Motel and read a couple of reviews. We were more than pleased with the motel, and Jim, its owner and his staff. We were in a newly renovated room. It had a nice sized refrigerator and microwave, a modern clock radio and tv with cable. The two queen beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were extremely clean.

A more than adequate continental breakfast was served (breads, rolls, pastries, cereals, juice, coffee and tea) in the morning. Jim was very gracious and would put coffee up in the evening if you wanted it. There was a comfortable seating and eating area in the office. I brought my laptop there to access the WIFI. Our room was in a corner and didn't get a strong wifi signal.

If I am ever back in the area, I would definitely stay at the Scoodic.

I am the mother of a middle school varsity basketball player and just had the diffiuclt task of booking a group of rooms for our team for this past weekend. I came upon this motel by refernce through another hotel in the area and was extremly pleased that this owner/operator could and would accomodate our team. The rooms are not large by any standards but are very neat, clean and well taken care of. The owner/operator made every effort over and above (what is normally expected in a motel) to not only accomodate us but to make our stay a very pleasurable one. Extra towels, linens and pillows were provided upon request to make room for some extra players and the continental breakfast far exceeded our expectations for a small establishment. We will definitely book this hotel for future tournaments!

The Scoodic motel is an excellent travel value! A remodeled old motel, and not a fancy place, but the owner (Jim) is a great person, and the rooms, while certainly not exotic, are very clean and neat. Not a place for a vacation, but certainly a very suitable overnight travel stop.
I will definitely stay at the Scoodic again (I make two trips each year to Nova Scotia, through New Brunswick).

We had a wedding to go to in Canada and we were taking out 3 year old and everyone else was staying at a four star hotel and we could not afford it. So I found this hotel and the owner was extremely wonderful and the rooms were clean and roomy and we had plenty of towels and the room even had a TV with cartoons...that helped allot while getting ready for the wedding. We had coffee every morning along with muffins, bagels, cereal, toast....we had never been to Canada and this hotel and owner made our stay wonderful and if we ever go to Canada again we will be staying at Scoodic. Thanks Jim for the wonderful 2 nights at your hotel. Hope to see ya again and Cali our daughter says hello.
