June month was good for trip to saint john. This is my 2nd time to stay at same place. This is realy good place to stay at very reasonable price,with a complimenrary HOT breakfast in the morning. That would have cost me another $ 10.00 if I would go some where else to have breakfast. The new owner is realy good for their great services. The room was big enough for four had I needed it. There was fridge,microwave Tv & cable station facility in the room. Bathroom was also good,I had everything I needed.

After coming down the road from the exit on Route 1, the look of the sign and the buildings was not all that impressive. Having said that, I was provided a comfortable night's stay at a very reasonable price, with a complimentary HOT breakfast in the morning that would have cost me another $7 down the road at a restaurant. The owner, Paulette, was gracious with advice and suggestions for seeing Saint John, including recommendations for eateries and night life. The room, with a decor reminiscent of the late '50s (probably the original furniture and window dressing) was nonetheless spacious- big enough for more than 3 had I needed it. It contained a frig and microwave as well. The bathroom was also ample. I had everything I needed except maybe a sample of some shampoo. But the generous supply of towels, which were like rugs they were so thick and fluffy, more than made up for it. As far as modern updates, there were plenty of cable stations on the TV and a remote control to use. But- the bed, while clean, was a bit worn down and lumpy, and there was no A/C- (fortunately the night I stayed I didn't need it). Overall, although it has a few a warts, this is still a nice, clean economical place to stay. The breakfast is real added bonus! I'll stop again to be sure.

City Market I enjoyed this area of town. From the City Market, you can get to the NB Museum, Brunswick Square and many more attractions without having to drive anywheres.
