On March 11, 2005 we (myself, husband and young son) stayed at your hotel (Travelodge East - Room 142) as I had an early morning university class on March 12. We decided to stay poolside and were enjoying it all UNTIL we were woken up close to 2 a.m. by loud, possibly intoxicated hotel guests who had decided to use the pool. We waited for a while thinking front desk had to hear all the racket in the pool or see it on the closed circuit cameras and would come and kick these guests out of the pool. No one came - around 2:15 my husband opened the door and told them to shut up and go to their rooms - they kept carrying on - at 2:30 we called front desk and asked them to handle this situation. Security showed up and dealt with them. Where was your staff, and why did it take our phone call to front desk to deal with this. I am sure we were not the only room that was woken up by these guest. THEN we were woken again around 7:15 a.m., these same guests decided to have an early morning swim and again we waited for your staff to deal with it, which they never did, another call to front desk had to be made. I was quite tired for my 8-hour class the next day since I had such a lousy sleep. I would like to see a credit voucher issued to us for a one-night stay free at the Travelodge to compensate us for the horrible experience we had there on the 12th. As well, we have stayed at many hotels pool side and certain procedures occur there to ensure this does not happen - I would suggest you look to your procedures and implement something.
