We so enjoyed our accommodations, we still rave about it to our friends. Luxurious, convenient to our destination of the Provincial Capitol, well kept. We relaxed among the fine furnishings at the grand lounge and gazed with wonder from the unique city view afforded us from our suite. Just yesterday, I spoke with good friend about my stay at this grand hotel and he will be staying there this fall during his trip to Winnipeg if the company sends him again. On my recommendation. We are thankful for the opportunity to stay at the Fairmont Winnipeg.

Winter Wonderland Light Show If staying over the holidays, take some time to drive thru the light show. Its at the race track. It costs $15 per car, but was something fun to do.
Transportation from Airport to Downtown Check the posted signs for the estimated taxi fare from the airport to the Fairmont - you should be paying about $18 more or less. Do doubt what the "fixed fare" limo drivers are telling you. If you've got a group of people sharing a ride downtown it might be worth it ($30) but overall it's probably better to go with the taxi.
