VIA RAIL This was my second trip to Churchill, VIA Rail is consistently late. Our train was 12 hours overdue. If you do not mind the time changes, the train is nice. You will get a credit for future travel on VIA if the train is very late. We refunded our return tickets and purchased plane tickets for the return trip. If you purchase standby tickets, they are half price, and you are guarenteed the next flight. Several flights leave daily, therefore, it is a good option.
