We have had the pleasure of staying at the Wedgewood on two different occasions. Each was an unbelievable experience. The ambiance and luxury of the hotel combined with the courteous, attentive staff has made the Wedgewood our favourite! No wonder it continues to make the Travel and Leisure Top 10!

Best Hotel We Have ever stayed at in Vancouver!

My wife and I were referred to this beautiful Downtown Vancouver Boutique Hotel and we recommend it to all who plan to visit the city. I often travel to Vancouver on business and have stayed in several Hotels throughout the city and none have I received the service as I have at the Wedgewood. Worth checking out for a nice romantic getaway.

We frequent Vancouver because it's so close and such a fabulous city.
We've stayed at Sutton Place, The Four Seasons, and The Hotel Vancouver (all 5 stars), but our favorite bar in Vancouver--if not the world!--is Bacchus at the Wedgewood Hotel. So, we decided to try the hotel for an overnight. Wow!!! Impeccable service, sumptuously beautiful room complete with a real bar, a great view patio, a box of chocolates upon check-in, and fresh-baked cookies with turndown service. Only problem is, we never wanted to leave the hotel because the restaurant is fabulous also. Bravo!! We'll be back!!

What a wonderful hotel!! The staff makes you feel like family. The decor is tasteful and comfortable not the usual hotel industrial look.
There are dozens of thoughtful touches like blackout curtains, afternoon ice delivery, homemade cookies with the turndown service, the absolute best room "service" we've ever experienced. The breakfast buffet is the deal of century. Loved the rooms with crown molding, granite counters in the minibars and so many other delights. You can't go wrong with this choice.

Great Little Hotel

A delight to find such a charming hotel with personalized services. Very helpful in renting bicycles for riding in Stanly Park--a must do for visitors. Exceptional wine list in Bacchus(spelling?), and ejoyable meal and service. We will be back.The Taylors

The Wedgewood Hotel has everything. The surroundings are Class A as well as all those who work there. They are proud to be a part of the hotel and it shows. The room was delightful with a view of the Law Courts garden. We were in the middle of it all - so much to see and do in the nearby surroundings. Will definitely return one day!

This is truly the definition of a, "Boutique Hotel." As such, it's service is unparalleled. Friendly, smiling faces from the moment the car valet whisks your vehicle away to the welcome at the check-in. We were impressed with the staff and added little courtesies that made our stay enjoyable. We had to attend a function in one of their meeting rooms and the food was excellent. Their downtown location provided walking access to everything we needed. Is the Wedgewood Vancouver's best kept little secret? Sherv and Lorraine.

My first visit to the Wedgewood was terrific! From the moment I arrived, the service was absolutely OUTSTANDING. The room (Executive) was very comfortable and nicely appointed. I appreciated the attention to detail: delivery of ice just when I wanted it, and the chocolates.
Turn-down service with bottled water and cookies! I had dinner at Baccus and loved it. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The service was impeccable, as was the food.
I can't say enough about my visit. I regret it was too short. I plan to return again very soon.

My husband and I were very impressed with the warmth, friendliness and level of service of the front desk management and staff of the Wedgewood Hotel during our recent visit to Vancouver. We also enjoyed the high quality of our room.
The Wedgewood's central location was also very convenient and allowed us to walk to almost everywhere we had on our list of places to visit while in Vancouver.

Bon Appetit and Pleasant Dreams at The Wedgewood!

Friends had told us about this lovely boutique hotel so we were prepared to like it even before we arrived. The actual experience of staying at the hotel more than lived up to the high praise given by our friends. We have now been there twice. On both visits, our room was best described as spacious (room to sit and and entertain friends without feeling cramped) and elegant appointments without being intimidating. Thoughtful extras like bottled water and cookies at bedtime, were two small but appreciated touches that the hotel provides. I admired a painting in the lobby one day and one of the staff actually stopped and talked to me about it. Bacchus Restaurant is a dinning delight and should be featured in Bon Appetit and Gourmet magazines! Every dish was made with pride and it showed. The food presentation was always innovative but never took away from the quality of the food. Thank you to the Wedgewood and Bacchus for making our two stays memorable and worth continuing the tradition of passing on The Wegewood's good name to other friends.

On a recent trip to Vancouver, I had the pleasure of staying at the Wedgewood Hotel, what a great place (despite the rain). The bar, lounge and restaurant combination ranks among the finest in the world. The level of comfort, service, food and true hospitality is outstanding and they should be congratulated on creating a real jewel. The hotel is a boutique style hotel with beautiful furnishings, ambiance and personal service to rival any hotel in Paris, Rome or London. My balcony was the perfect setting for a continental breakfast - Coffee and fresh pastries as I observed early morning activity in Robson Square, yes I was truly downtown! Having travelled and had the pleasure of staying at many excellent hotels, I can say that the Wedgewood Hotel is a hidden gem- WOW!

Getting around It's easy to walk in Vancouver - we had no car and found we managed very nicely without!
Granvillle Island Worth a visit
vancouver sights and culinary delights We enjoyed the Capilano Suspension Bridge $26.95/person. The fish hatchery, nearby the suspension bridge, free. The gondola to the top of Grouse Mountain was fun, check out the bears! There was snow on top of Grouse Mountain in June and the restaurant at the top has a nice view of Vancouver. Stanley Park is lovely, see it in the day and evening. Denman Street is okay for a quick bite, make sure to stop at Cupcake for dessert!!!! C Restaurant was an exceptional dining experience, a little expenisive, but worth it. Arts and Crafts at Granville Island was okay...we took a water bus that made it fun! We also bought some of the local indian art, that represented the salmon and grizzly bear as a nice momento.
