Absolutely loved The Buccaneer Inn!
My partner and I stayed at the Buccaneer Inn in Nanaimo this fall. The place is brilliant. The owners, Dave and Marlene and their son Christopher were very friendly and knew a lot about Vancouver Island. They helped us plan our entire trip.
The suite we stayed in was immaculate. It had a separate bedroom and a full kitchen so we could self cater. The bedroom had a king bed and a down duvet on it. Really cosy! They supplied coffee, 4 kinds of tea and even had a basket of food that you could buy stuff from.
We enjoyed the proximity to the ocean and the pubs close by (but not close enough to hear them!).
Nanaimo is a lovely town and is well located to tour the whole island.
I really loved the book exchange, the games in a basket in the room and the laundry.
Totally loved it and will go back for sure.
