Review - Parkwood Motor Inn Hotel

While stopping over in Sundre, we decided to stay at the Parkwood which, at first glance of the room, looked fine. While there we discovered that the A/C did not work, one of the beds was broken, the shower head did not work, the water was cold and the toilet seat was broken. When we approached the manager the next day to tell him of our concerns, he did take a look and said that all suites are checked upon guest check-out. These things had been overlooked for a long time and the bed "repair" consisted of a metal moulding under the frame (which did not prevent the bed from sagging). We asked if there could be a discount as the room had a number of deficiences to which he replied "no discount". We paid for a room that was not in good repair and had a miserable stay as a result. I do not recommend this motel.
