Stayed at Edson, Sundowner Inn.I am a senior travel companion. We absolutely loved the relaxed surroundings here. The staff was friendly but what we loved the best was breakfast time. We sat in the comfortable dining nook and thoroughly enjoyed watching and listening to the oil workers come down in stocking feet. They were very quiet and well behaved but reminded me of a kitchen setting when the older brothers came down and asked what time the others came in, what they were doing later etc. It was a comfortable, homey feel and the breakfast was delicious..just a wee bit more than continental(it was trucker style...no reason to eat lunch).. Those hard working men added to the hominess of this place and it set the trend for our Alberta trip.Sundowner Inn is a place I would definetly recommend. Kudos to them and kudos to the oilworkers. Thanks for a GREAT TIME.
