Stay Away From the Attached Food Store/Gas Bar

The hotel is clean and modern and for its price range it is very good value, the front desk staff are pleasant although they seemed to be more accustomed to dealing with rougher customers than an average business traveller. The attached food store/ Shell gas bar , these people are like junkyard dogs, they growl at you when you pay, they growl when giving you change and overall are the most unpleasant people I have ever come across in the three western provinces and the two territories that I travel. I stayed at this hotel several times and each time was the same experience, I now no longer stay at that hotel when I'm in Edmonton, not because of the hotel itself but 100% because of the attached store.
