Great hotel, but terrible parking

Great upscale hotel with friendly staff and fantastic rooms. HOWEVER, the parking was completely terrible. We drove around the hotel for 1/2 an hour because there was construction and no room out front to stop and go into the hotel. Finally found a great worker at the back of the hotel who directed us to the Parkade down the street. Complete disaster as our truck would not fit in the parkade. Ended up taking us 2 hours to get our vehicle parked. We were not impressed at all!

Lots of trips to Edmonton. Usually stay in the West End. Tried Meterra this week for 3 nights and I loved it! Valet? Hilarious, take the keys to my rented Pontiac good Sir. Great service, car in front 7am everyday. People are nice, the decor is really amazing and the rooms are perfect. You can walk to any franchise place imaginable, like Starbucks, Chili's, McRotten etc. However, you're also going to find tons of crazy cool, one of a kind stores. Very euro-hippie vibe. You'll never see so many pierced people. Just get a room, drink some pints, grab a bite, shop for some vintage T-shirts, catch a live band, PEOPLE WATCH, give smokes to the occasional vagrants who ask, and have a great time! Did I mention the hotel is the best too?

Yhis is the best place to stay, not only is it close to everything - its also a beautiful hotel with some of the most helpful staff. Thanks For Everything!!!!

Excellent place to stay, very friendly and helpful staff!! Close to lots of ammenities! Rooms were beautiful and very clean and well kept!! Will definatly make this my hotel of choice when I come to Edmonton!!

The location was great and handy to what I needed. The breakfast was excellent. The only drwback was a faint odor of smoke in the room. I will request a non smoking room next time.

My husband and I stayed there for our wedding night. We requested a basic king-sized bed room, since we didn't want to spend too much money. I mentioned it was our wedding day while reserving, so they upgraded our room to a suite that had a separate living living and kitchen area and a big balcony! It was a huge surprise, and it didn't cost us extra. This hotel has the most comfortable beds, we didn't want to leave! Everything was very VERY well kept and clean. We are going back for our 1st anniversary.

Very upscale and friendly without the nose in the air attitude you can receive at some places. Very impressed with the little touches in the room such as a shower curtain rod that bows out to keep the curtain from coming in on you, all the little amenities in the room, the upscale decor, the wine and cheese in the evening is a pleasant way to unwind before going out for diner. Am going back over Christmas as you can not beat their holiday rates!

Swanky, relaxed executive suite hotel

The best place to sleep, wine and cheese it, enjoy our staff getaways, shop on Whyte Avenue, hotel staff takes great care of us from valet parking as we arrive to settling us into our rooms. We enjoy our stay and the attentive service and well appointed rooms and bathrooms make it truly comfy and the best value for the rate in Edmonton. Three cheers!

A truly memorable experience from the awe-inspiring decor to the wonderful courteousness of the staff, the Met left us not wanting to leave. Beautiful
