I had a great stay at this Hotel; it was so close to the mall, plus many other stores and restaurants. My room was very comfortable and the steam shower was GREAT. The service and the staff was ok, they could improve by being a little more outgoing.

My family booked at the HIE in West Edmonton for a May long weekend wedding. Upon arrival-they lost our reservations and we were treated to the most abysmal service-EVER. We were basically called liars, offered NO options and told if we had to stay somewhere else, that was fine. Front office manager was particularly rude and unaccommodating. Last time for any of my family at HIE!

READ THE REVIEW THE OTHER PERSON MADE ABOUT THE DRIVE LEFT AT MCDONALDS! Book in advance, sleep the night away and for pete sake, remember to make the first LEFT at the lights when you see the Mall. Follow that road past Canadian Tire, PAST Mcdonalds, THEN turn left. Print this out. :D

Water Park West edmonton mall Water Park is awesome, be prepared to stay the whole day. A bit pricey though for a family of five.

West Edmonton Mall is not recommended The mall used to be a favorite for our family but on our recent trip we were very disappointed. The place was very rundown, very expensive and the rides are only run periodically and yet they don't offer a discount for it. Some of the best attractions in the mall are gone and the rest are under construction or they should be. Don't waste your money, there are much better places to visit!
