I travel for work and this little motel is perfect for me because I can park my truck right outside my door. They gave me a special deal because I am now a regular I guess. Good deal for the price and quality.

An excellent place to stay, very accommodating and friendly staff. Affordable price and housekeeper comes everyday to make sure rooms are clean. We really enjoyed our stay here in this motel for 9 days. I highly recommend this place, no regrets we chose to stay here rather than big hotels we saved a lot of money. Thank you Derrick Motel!

Our recent visit at the Derrick Motel was a very satisfactory one. We had stayed there about 8 months ago and god, what a difference in the customer service and room upgrades. Seems like these people know what they are doing. We were given a newely renovated room with great furniture and a king size bed. we got our money's worth and would stay there again.Highly recommend.

I recently got an oppurtunity to stay at the Derrick Motel and was surprised to know how the service and rooms have improved. The new owners know how to run the business and how to deal with the clients.What a difference from the previous manager. These people have upgraded the beds, furniture and mainly the service. Sure I would stay there again and again.

The new owners are the best to deal with. They have done a fantastic job by upgrading the beds, Tv's all linen and new furniture. I thibnk They have the 100% improvement done and the lots of money spent to upgrade the motel. Try it and feel the diffrenece in the service. I have stayed there lots of time and God, what a difference in the management.

hi there
we stay at the derrick motel ,me and my daughter,
we paid for the month ,but after a week i asked the owner for our money back,,they refused to pay our $700.00 they said we didnt give them any notice ,so we lost $700.00
we first moved there out towels were daily,but after 2 days there the maid said towels once a week,,,,(WTF)
no kleen towels,
or we had to pay extra to have fresh ones..let alone we already paid 1200,plus 200 pet fee,,
please my friend stay away from derrick motel,,bad service,,
we stay at the derrick motel ,me and my daughter,

Not bad for $70

My room was clean and functional. I had a problem with the remote but I called to the front desk and had a new one brought up to me in a few minutes. Looks like they finally have a new manager who knows how to deal with customers. Overall, not too bad for $70 a night. I would stay there again.
Very Rude managers

The manager and his wife could not have treated us more rudely. A couple of big fat slobs who want to retire to their home province of New Brunswick at the age of 35 and have disdain for any of the customers. My channel changer in the room didn't work, so he suggested we move to another room. Before moving I suggested the remote in the other room be tested first. It was inoperative also! Frustrated with no TV remote, he just said what do you expect for $60? That was just the beginning of our nightmare, but I don't want to go there now. Cleaning staff were pleasant but one could detect an obvious poor attitude towards their managers. They were some of the rudest people I have ever met! They had no idea of western hospitality!

This motel has no guest or customer service whatsoever. They do not even answer their phones at anytime of day or even have a machine to leave a msg. to get back to you. As well they provide an email, which they do not answer as well.
