I really enjoyed my stay at the Badlands Motel. Very affordable at $75/nite+ taxes for one person in a kitchenette suite. Would be great for families as this suite had a separate bedroom - almost like a small 1 bedroom apartment. Also includes free Wifi internet and satellite TV. Staff were helpful in suggesting places to eat in the evening. The motel is also right beside the local bike trail system, which is great for cyclists.

The waffle house on the property had great country style food - big helpings. Chic urbanites might object though to the use of canned fruit on the waffles, but it was no biggy to me.

My only issue was that this place seems to be far enough out of town that there was no cell phone coverage - weird!

We've been coming to Drumheller for 4-5 years, sometimes 2 times a year (motorcyle lovers) and have stayed here each and every time. The food is to die for, the rooms are not Great, it's an older motel that hasn't been upgraded. But the location, the folks there and the food are well worth it.

The rooms very clean, great setups, great price, great people. Could use a pool and wireless internet. Would stay again.

One of the worst places we've every stayed in!!! Felt dirty and smelled bad. Had to ask for everything from cups to coffee, the t.v. didn't work properly, holes in the curtains and (really gross) no mattress covers on the bed and only a flat sheet put down so it kept moving through the night. I had a hard time sleeping knowing I could end up on the badly stained matress at any moment. The restaurant was good, but an absolute rip-off to pay anything to stay there.
