Inexpensive, Grt Location But Not Quite the best

Great business location. Right in the middle of downtown. Also walking distance to many restaurants and nice park on Prince's island on the Bow River. Rooms very Large. Toiletries very basic. Never seemed to have a card in room to be able to order breakfast. Room service was reasonably quick and tasty. Phone took forever to answer if you wanted to reach front desk. Parking was in very dark cramped and potentially dangerous garage attached to building. Room had abit of dirt in corner of btahroom and paint in bathroom was old and flaking off in corners behind toilet. Generally rest of room was nice. Had wet bar two TV's large living room with couch lots of space. Very small basic hotel lobby. Much cheaper and cheaper-appearing public areas than the westin, Shearaton eau Claire or Marriott (all of which I've stayed in this year. Clientele of this hotel is European and Asian. Very friendly to Japanese travelers with numerous Japanese speakers

Great Value hotel. Well located, ask for the view over the river. Suite type accommodations, friendly staff and the room service was excellent.
