Giorgios Trattoria This place on Banff Avenue was superb. The food was amazing and the staff so friendly and welcoming. It is not a cheap place but by no means was it exepensive either the menu was varied to suit all pockets as you could either have pizza or go all out. The Salmon and Lobster lasagne was fantastic and my husband had the seafood linguine which tasted amazing. We felt a little scruffy in our jeans and trainers as there were some diners who were dressed up but the staff were not bothered and welcomed all.

Try the Braciole at Giorgio's Trattoria! We actually ate at Giorgio's 2 nights in a row during our stay because the good was wonderful! The restaurant is huge, with seating on 3 floors. We sat in the 3rd floor dining area both nights and enjoyed it's cozy atmosphere. The first night we were there, my husband had the Braciole, and although the dinner I chose was delicious ( I chose their signature dish but can't remember what it was called) i wished I had what he had. On our next night we went back with friends and I decided I would have the Braciole and loved it. I can't even try and describe it for fear of getting it's contents wrong.... but it was delicious! I was served on top of a wonderful bed of sweet potato mash which was heavenly. Give it a try - I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
