The person at the desk told me it's $99 for 2 nights, i confirmed with him twice, and when i checked out the other lady refused to honour the deal and wouldn't ask the person that i talked to and wouldn't even let me talk to him so we could confirm....I trusted those guys and they took advantage of it....in the end I had no choice but to pay the amount.....MAKE SURE YOU get the deal in writing with these THIEVES.....on the other hand the rooms were clean and comfortable

Banff is expensive! Everything in Banff, including all restaurant meals, cost double what I'm used to paying anywhere else. If you are on a budget, consider getting a hotel with a kitchenette and cooking your own meals.
Road construction Aug 2007 Banff avenue, for 2 blocks or 3 blocks north of the downtown bridge, is under construction. The entire 2 to 3 block length is shut down, and torn up. looks like this will be a long construction. Be prepared for detours downtown.
