Our stay was excellent as we were centrally located and could walk to almost everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms were clean and well kept, and the service was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone of my friends. I appreciate the opportunity to participate in this review and I trust my comments as well as those of others will prove beneficial

I've got a very good price on the internet. When I input my credit card information, I got some difficulties to keyin correct province infomation. Because just one day before check in, the counter staff could not locate the reservation. Though he gave me the price that my hard copy said. The room is comfortable and clean, with free coffee and tea. But there is no micro oven in public area which makes re-heating your staff a little un-convinient.
I still recommand this hotel for its great room rates. It is even better than a YMCA domitory bed. ($60 for two persons)

10-15 years ago, my family and I used the Banff Voyager in for weekends and back then it was quite nice. A year ago I stayed with a friend and it was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Everything was dirty in the room from the bathroom door to the nut shells in the bedside dressers. I was not impressed at all. I had the sheets changed, the room cleaned over again and to my surprise, the hotel room still had dirty corners and filthy baseboards. Not impressed. Our room was discounted to $35. In all honesty, I would never even pay $20 to stay there again. Weekenders beware!

Top Local Tips for Banff
Upper Hot Springs Gets super busy and it's small, might want to consider making a trip to Radium Hot Springs about 1.5 hour drive away and check out the other things along the way, like Lake Louise, Paint Pots, etc.. It's much larger with an unfiltered hot springs pool, hot springs pool, and regular pool.
