| Not luxury...But pretty good |
Definitely not the most luxurious place in town...but pretty good for an inexpensive stay while passing through or working in or outside of Sundre. My hubby was staying there and I went to meet him for the weekend. The rooms were clean, the bedding and bathroom was clean. Smoking rooms are available and the bar fridge and microwave are great for a working guy or a family. The staff were helpful and overall it was a good experience. We've stayed at big name hotels before that didn't even wipe out the bathtub, so I was pleasantly surprised when I went back after housekeeping had been in. |

| Couldn't have been more accomodating |
My brother and I rolled in on our bikes at 11:00 pm and we rented the last room available and the managers were both so accomodating to us that we immediatley felt relaxed and at home. The next day we went to see our sister in a neighbouring town for a day and had to return for a funeral service. We stopped by the pines and asked if we could park our bikes there for a few hours and they told us to park right in front of the office. When we returned we thanked the managers and they informed us the highway had been closed and being the great people they are they anticipated and saved us their last room. If I ever go to alberta again, I'm staying at the Pines and you should too, where they treat you like family and go to every expense to make you more than comfortable. |
