bargin, bargin and more bargining & A point for the ladies Being from the UK where everything has a price tag, be prepared to bargain when visiting the markets in Dubai. I had ever bargained before but my boyfriend became a natural at it and we manage to get some really good prices (so we think!!). You will be asked consistently to come inside shops by the shopkeepers, and expect to be they a while if you do as trying to leave with out buying can be difficult (so think twice before entering a shop) but generally the people at the markets are very friendly and are happy to bargain. A few points for the ladies, yes Dubai is an Arabic Islamic state but I found it very pleasant. Yes it true you don’t see woman walking around in hotpants and belly tops but I was fine wearing what I would normally were in the UK summer. On the beach and water park most ladies were in bikinis, and it was ok as it’s full of tourists. There is a mixture in Dubai, there are ladies which cover up from head to toe and there are ladies who are dressed westernized

money exchange Always change you money in dubai, you get a much better rate than in the UK

vey hot very very hot,before you go make sure you have alot of money to spend on travel as there are manily main road moterway type of roads and it is very horrible to walk in in the heat.take ALOT of white clothes,wear vey minumal,however there is a problem as there are alot of arab perverts.no ofense.DO NOT TRAVEL WITH SOUTHALL TRAVELS.they ripped me of big time.look for all inclusive deals from thomson or thomas cook.they are better.dont take to many valuble stuff with you especially at the waterpark.dubai is not cheap
