Hop on bus. I didn't think I would ever do the tourist hop on hop off bus but with the limited time we had it was really great,. We got to see all the parts of Dubai I wouldn't even know were there. And since the tickets were valid for 24 hours we used the bus the next day to get around.

Hot Stuff Check out the temperature before you go, it was up to 46 degrees C in May. Fine in the air-conditioning, but it made tours and walks very hard, sweaty experiences. Going to the supermarkets and shops used by the locals, you can buy water, soft drinks and food at a fraction of the hotel prices.
