TAXI TOUTS EVERYWHERE IGNORE TOUTS, GO STRAIGHT TO TAXI RANK IF TRANSFERS HAVE NOT BEEN PREVIOUSLY BOOKED. TAXIS ARE EXTREMELEY CHEAP AND THERE ARE PLENTY AT ALL TIMES.

Travelling in Dubai Don't stress about travelling in Dubai, this is NOT i repeat NOT EUROPE!!!! the taxis do not rip you off and they start the meter at £0.30p and are very friendly and happy no matter where you are going. Taxi's are the most exconomical way to get around, the main Taxi in Dubai is the 2003 Toyota Camry, 2004 Ford Mondeo and Hyundai Elantra

Men - No Sandals! A lot of restaurants and clubs in Dubai don't allow men to wear sandals - even if they are expensive leather sandals. Make sure you pack a pair of shoes to wear in the evenings in order to get into restaurants and clubs.
