HOT HOT HOT To get around I recommend hiring a chauffer @ 25 euros per hour its well worth it, its so hot you wont last 5minutes on foot. Taxis are hard to wave down and what better way to sightsee and relax!!! You are charged for your shuttle to the airport about 20 dirmah however I do not know about from the airport as I think its always best to just hire a cab which there are plenty on the rank.

Crowne Plaza Crowne Plaza Sheik Zayed rd is one of the best hotels in Dubai for value if booked earlier enough. July and August are the best time as it is extremly hot and you will get better deals on hotels

Historic Dubai You must see old Dubai (the real dubai - its got soul, unlike everything else). Spend an afternoon there. Start in Deira, board a boat to Bur Dubai, have a look around the many heritage buildings, dubai Museum and dine by the Creek. Stay around untill 6pm when the call to prayer starts, while the sun sets and the boats flow by - Magical!!! cross the creek again and wonder arround the souks - do some shopping if you must.
