The Hotel was superb, the suite was one of the nicest I have stayed in and I could not fault the friendliness of the staff. It is * years since I was last in Dubai and at that stage I would have called it paradise....now I would call it a building site. Although I was not distured by the noise, it was very unsightly and the standards for the workers most disturbing to witness. I will return but not for a long time when hopefully the scale of development will be less intense.

Superb setting and service

A fantastic settting on the beach with great service and top class facilities! I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel and took advantage of it's seaside amenities as well as the spa! I have tried many hotels in Dubai and this was my favourite!

A very Luxurious Hotel with a lot of good restaurants, especially if you are bringing children. Nice people, 1st class service, and nice atmosphere.

Life on a building site

A dream holiday turned into a nightmare by incessant noise. I imagine that, a couple of years ago, this hotel, and the other on this stretch of Jumeirah beach, used to be idyllic. That was before they decided to build a whole city of skyscrapers behind it! Now, although the hotel itself is fine, with some excellent restaurants and friendly staff, it is overwhelmed by the giant construction site which surrounds it and on which the army of workers and all their machinery are busy 24 hours a day. Use of the balconies is impossible, sleep sporadic and peace and tranquility (outside of the BICE restaurant or massage room) almost impossible to find. They say that Dubai will be nice when it's finished. In the unlikely event of that day ever arriving who on earth would still want to go there?
