Great Hotel, brilliant staff location good but if you don't have a sea view room be prepared to face a ~Big~ construction site!

My husband and I travelled to Dubai and stayed in this fabulous hotel for one week. I have to say it was just out of this world. Staff couldn't do enough to help, the rooms were beautiful (we had a sea view), food was marvellous and being right on the beach was a bonus! I don't think I could fault this hotel in any way. Wish we were there now.

Top Local Tips for Dubai

traffic Be prepared for big traffic jams on Shiek Zayed Road and Emirates Ring Road, particularly early in the morning and during the evening when workers are changing shifts. Note all trucks stay in the right hand lane, no exceptions..... ever! You have never seen a que of trucks until you have driven along Emirates Ring Road near the autodrome at around 7pm at night.

Taxis Taxi from the airport to this hotel was about 75AED (including our tip) which is about £10.60 and transfer time was about 30mins. Always carry small notes to tip the drivers.

Location Understand that if you want to be at the beach, you will be surrounded 24/7 by construction work.
