An excellent hotel but the building and tile laying during the day on the first floor was deafening. I arrived at 05:30 am and needed sleep before my first meeting at noon. Ask if the building work has been completed.

This was our 5th stay at the Al Bustan Rotana and again we weren't disappointed. We were picked up at the airport by the hotel people carrier and within 5 minutes we were at the hotel. We checked in and had our room upgraded as some guests had cancelled their stays due to the crisis in Lebanon and Israel. Our bags arrived at our room within minutes of us getting there. We had fresh fruit in our room on arrival and this was re-filled each day. There is a beverage tray in the room and several complimentary bottles of water are left daily. Bathrobes and slippers are provided and the bed turn-down service. My husband took advantage of the complimentary shoe-shining service. We also used the laundry service which is very reasonably priced. The rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable. You don't hear the aircraft noise, even though the airport is close by. There is a car hire desk in the hotel and we hired a car for the week at a good rate. Even though the hire rates were printed on the leaflet, we haggled and got a better deal. If you don't want to hire a car, taxis are readily available and are cheap. We paid 24 DHS from the hotel to the gold souk. The hotel has 6 restaurants all of which are excellent. We particularly enjoyed The Blue Elephant (Thai), Come Prima (Italian) and the different themed buffets in the Fontana. The Fusion night on a Saturday was particularly impressive. The service and helpfulness of the staff is second-to-none. Again, we were remembered by name by some of the staff from our visit last year. The pool staff are very attentive and rush to put up your parasol and put your towels on the sun lounger for you. The pool bar is very reasonable and offers snacks as well as drinks. During the day, staff come round with frozen towels to cool you down and fruit kebabs and juices. We will certainly stay at the Al Bustan Rotana again and look forward to our next visit.

Great especially if u have a baby

The service is very good m staff friendly The have good baby gear but sometimes the lack baby pillows :( I love that place been there so far 6 times , I wonder if I went there 1 more time they will give me a gift or something ?!
