This is a new hotel with very nice bathroom fittings and comfortable beds.
1. There are many TV programs but none of the good ones. After a while, I didn't bother switching the TV on.
2. The breakfast is large but nothing to eat. For 50 - 70 Dhs, not worth a cup of coffee and some juice. The juice was fresh when it was made, the day before. The bread is days old, as are the little croissants etc. They had museili but change to little packets of oats (to save money. One time they had little jars of honey but ran out. They had salmon in th cold buffet but ran out.
3. The complementary tea didn't come for 3 days. I complained so they brought some. The next day they forgot again.
4. Several complaints (4) about the TV being set to 16:9 but they never fixed it. Eventually, gave up. Nothing worth watching anyway.

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. Everything was first class, from the smooth check in, wonderful room presentation, food at the breakfast buffet and evening buffet. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone had a smile on their faces and the whole stay was a very pleasurable one. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Abu Dhabi. The Staff even recommended an outside restaurant that served alcohol as they did not at that time.

Please keep it up like this!

Very nice hotel, efficient check in proceedure with very polite and professional staff. I was travelling with my wife and she enjoyed the Ladies Salon, while I was out for several meetings.
Real value for money and will be my favorite place whenever I visit AbuDhabi

Perfect service, huge rooms, good cusine

Spent three weeks at Cristal before move in an apartment, personneel are nice and caring, service is excellent, cusine is a buffet and offers lot of choice for every needs. On the 19th floor there's a small indoor swimmingpool and a good gymn area with sauna (included in the price). Always in 19th floor Cristal offers good thai massage (to pay a part). Rooms are huge compared to other place in abu dhabi with bedroom , bathroom and livingroom (looks like a small apartment more than an hotel room) the style is modern and spaces are well organized. Unfortunately if you look for a beer they do not have the permission for alchool, yet.

Great hotel, Great staff

We stayed at the Cristal Hotel for one night. We had an overnight stop in Abu Dhabi while in transit following a flight from Thailand. Upon arriving at the hotel we were glad to be met at the hotel by friendly and welcoming reception staff. We were quickly checked in and showed to our room by the porter who was also very friendly and gave us a map of the city to help us find our way round.
The room exceeded our expectations and was first class. Very clean and modern. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had the best night sleep of our holiday. The air con is quite and you cannot hear any noise from outside. Tea and coffee is available in the room and is complementary as is bottled water. There is a flat screen TV and modern furniture. The bathroom is very well equipped. Beds are turned down by staff and night time with the curtains drawn and bottled water place at the bedside. In the morning there is a newspaper waiting at the door.
This hotel set us up for our onward flight to Manchester

Would we stay here again? Definitely!

The best hotel...ever

I stayed at the hotel for business...It was my first trip to Abu Dhabi...I was unbelievable amazed by the hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and equipped with every ammenity imaginable. If anything was needed, the hotel staff was extremely obilging. The staff was friendly, organized, and helpful. We dined at the restaurant every day. Food was incredible.

If I go back to Abu Dhabi, I would love to stay here again. It was the best experience.

A good new centrally located hotel.

Stayed here over a (mid-east weekend) on the advice of a friend. The hotel is very new; some of it is still being built, but this was not a problem. Its very centrally located in "down-town" AD, with good parking - at least, when I was there.

Its very clean modern design; a sort of 21st century Art Nouveau - dark woods and flat surfaces. The room, with small suite, very comfortable...with all the audio/visual media that you could need.

Staff very good, and clearly well trained. I only had breakfast in the restaurant, but the lunch buffet (hot+cold) looked very good. Room service menu is also good.

There is very nice indoor swimming pool with attached gym; with some some nice relaxation areas..just what you need in that summer outside heat. There is also a massage service, but I was too busy to sample.

I had a very enjoyable stay the Cristal Hotel in February 2009. I was initially worried when I arrived to notice that the hotel was still in construction and had opened to offer some extra accommodations since all the hotels were fully booked due to the IDEX exhibition. Yet, as the manager had been so helpful in assisting me before leaving Canada, I booked at the hotel and did not regret it. Do not look for a nice beach resort at the door step and I do not know about the gym and pool as these facilities were stil under construction but if you want a restful, very nicely furnished room with a bedroom side and a living room, both with a large LCD television and especially a quiet room in the middle of downtown Abu Dhabi, I recommend the Cristal Hotel.
Although I always appreciated the nice attentions provided by the hotels I visited in the Emirates, the treatment I received at the Cristal had a little extra here and there and made my three day stay very enjoyable starting by the polite staff, the size and nice decoration of the room to the elaborate fine tasting buffet offered both for breakfast and diner.
The staff was extra attentive to my particular needs particularly those related to my business activities like finding where my documents to be delivered by a courier were delayed and making sure they arrived at the hotel, assisting me in obtaining parts to repair my computer to organizing a comfortable and cheaper return trip to Dubai.
I hope I’ll have the pleasure of returning to Abu Dhabi and returning to the Cristal. Thanks a lot Michael.
