Top Local Tips for Muscat
Drive from Dubai to Muscat We drove from Dubai to Muscat. It took 5 hours (plus Immigration chk) one way. According to my knowledge, there are 6 different border checkpoints from UAE to enter Oman. So, we drove from dubai to Muscat via Fujairah. On the way back from Muscat we followed the Hatta road to reach Dubai. I would suggest Hatta road has better view than Fujairah. Happy Driving.
Style of driving Be careful on the roads, the local driving style is rather exuberant. If you think another driver might make that dodgy manoeuvre, the chances are he will. Anticipate it and you'llbe fine!
