Top Local Tips for Aqaba
Ville agréable mais on a vite fait le tour Aqaa n'est pas pour les amateurs de plage (accès réservé aux hôtels sur mer autrement payant), shopping local agréable mais cher si vous restez dans les rues principales et touristiques, si vous avez une voiture, n'hésitez pas à visiter le centre commercial chinois et le grand store qui se trouve au même endroit mais trop loin du centre à pied. Il y a également un petit souk pas cher un peu plus haut dans le centre ville. Les gens sont sympa et la ville agréable, je vous conseille le Liliano (en face de l'Aquamarina II) pour boire un verre ou manger un bout (pas cher) vavec musique live le soir. Toujours si vous êtes motorisé, allez jusqu'à la South Beach aménagée avec bancs et parasols et déserte pendant la semaine !
Aqaba town Nice place to walk about in, some new mall style outlets being finished but mostly small shops. The prices are high but bartering is expected. Coral jewellery is big here but I don't know if it's real as I thought trading in coral was illegal.
Ali Baba The Ali Baba Restaurant seems to be an institution. The food is superb and the atmosphere is great. It specialises in fish dishes which were so fresh and beautifully cooked. If you don't want to scuba dive or snorkel I would also suggest taking a trip on the yellow submarine. The view of the coral reef and its undersea life is amazing
