Feels like home
The Amman Crown hotel may not be one of the most luxurious hotels in Amman, but what it lacks in luxury or quality, it sure makes up for with its homely feel, great hospitality and the staff's willingness to go out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and having a good time. The prices are very cheap for what you get and the rooms are comfortable and clean. If you want to avoid the ultra luxurious standard of hotels and stay in a place that gives you the feeling of home away from home, then Amman Crown Hotel is the place for you.

Nope, won't stay here again!
Yes, I was one of those lucky Royal Jordanian transit passengers who were shuttled to this hotel. The door wouldn't lock, the room was not clean, food in the morning was nearly inedible, and the attendants at the counter were just plain rude. As for the Royal Jordanian representative stationed at the hotel (tells you how many people get stuck here thanks to Royal Jordanian), he just kept himself locked in his little glass box and refused to talk to anyone. At one point, I grabbed the door as an administrater walked out. I wouldn't leave without new tickets, which he refused to issue. He wanted me to wait another two days for a possible flight out of Amman!
