Sheraton Tel Aviv Towers is the best hotel I have ever been to. The staff took care of every thing and with a smile no matter what time day or night. The view of the beach and Mediterranean Sea is magnificent. The hotel has an excellent executive bar and a really well run restaurant with an outstanding breakfast. The business center is always staffed and the high speed ADSL connections make doing work very easy. I highly recommend the Sheraton Tel Aviv!!

Are You Kidding Me ?

from JaredAG1218
I recently stayed at the Sheraton Tel Aviv Hotel and Towers and was completely dissapointed. As drive up to the hotel at first glace you hope your cabbie took you to the wrong hotel. The lobby is okay, fairly new and but you feel more like your in houston,tx than tel aviv. Their is no middle eastern style in the whole hotel. When the elevator took me up to my floor I felt as if i was in a completely different hotel. I felt as if i was in a dirty highway side hotel from the seventies. The room was very average exept for broken tv, a pretty cool expresso machine and average temperature of 85 degrees farenheit. The gym consisted of 4 pieces of equipment all of which were at least 20 years old. no music, no tv, alot of mirrors, and two old gym attendants who just stare the whole time you workout. the pool like the whole hotel was outdated, cold, and empty to the point where the poolside bar was closed most of the time. I could go on and on about the problems with this hotel(disgusting coffee, incompetent concierge, etc) but just all and all do not stay here i would of rather stayed home.

not recommended

I`m just staying in this hotel - 220 USD / night - there I expect really high end - but reality is unfortunately far away:

- for check in I had to wait 10 munites (the stuff is friendly but to less stuff)
- comming into the room there is a big ugly peck on the carpet (is after 5 days still there.
- this internet connection cost me another 20 USD / day (30 minutes/day is free - but every day you have to go to the businiss center to get a new code)
- the television sometimes works - sometimes it shut downs without reason
- the shower did not work (was repaired immediately when I claimed it)
- the fitness room is really poor
- the chambermaid ignored my laundery about 2 days
- the elevators don`t have enough capacity - sometimes you wait 5 minutes to get a lift

But there are also some positive items:
- breakfast is tasty and with big choice
- the hotel is direct in front of the beach

So - if you are looking for value for money - this is not the right palace. If you are looking for a hotel near to the beach - with good breakfast and a nice lobby and friendly stuff - than its ok.
Enjoy your stay!

Nothing to see here, folks

from SmooveO
Stayed here during my last night in Israel and was far from impressed with this place. I've stayed at many Sheraton hotels in the past, and this easily makes it in to the bottom 20% of the hotels I've stayed at.

The front desk is fairly rude and unavailable. Check-in took far longer than it should have, and we were the only ones in line! This is because while we were checking in, the lady behind the counter found it necessary to answer the phone and keep us waiting around for close to 10 minutes while she answered all of the callers questions.

They then checked us in to the wrong room, and when we called the front desk from our room, we had to try four times, as they kept hanging up on us or not answering the phone. Finally, we got taken to the room that we reserved.

The rooms themselves are unspectacular. Very small and outdated. The hallway to the elevator outside the room smells like a wet dog.

Breakfast is not included.

The view is very nice as you are right near the beach, but that's about all I can say about this hotel on the positive side.

There are so many hotels in Tel Aviv - don't waste your time here.

Old and unpleasant!

from jhodara
This hotel does not deserve 4 stars anymore! It's old, dirty and very unpleasant! I stayed at the "Royal Suite" at the upper floor, however you can see the rotten carpets and worn-out painting everywhere!
The location is great but there are many other better hotels next door which cost as much as this one!
The staff is awful as well! I arrived at 1:00 am from a long trip and had to deal with a guy at the reception that should never been hired! The room had not been reserved, he didn't want to search for another choice, and finally, because I lost my patience, he offered a room for one night only!!!
The next morning I looked for the manager and had the most unpleasant conversation of my life! I don't know how Sheraton Hotels can hire such a low profile people! His answers to my concerns were that I could complain to the Main Office because he would be the one to get the letter and he would throw it away. He was not worried at all if his employee was bad humored or did not treat guests well at all.
My advice is to look for another hotel! By the way, try Dan Panorama that is not so far away, is totally renewed, faces a wonderful beach and is very good priced! The staff is super, too!

from bruisyard
On the plus side, the location is good right by the beach, but this hotel is stuck in the 80s- the rooms were grey, drab and didn't feel very clean. Staff not overly helpful either. My husband stayed here 10 years ago and I don't think it's changed since! I wouldn't stay here again......

Very functioning

from TeWe
I stayed here three nights and was quite satisfied with the experience. I had a room on the 19th floor which was spacious enough, in good shape and had a magnificient view to the beach and towards the city. The room had a small balcony as well.

Included in the rate was the opportunity to use a separate lounge area on the 18th floor for breakfast, snacks and drinks, which were included in the price of the room.

Breakfast was good, not spectacular but good. The service in the lounge was excellent all over.

The location is quite good as the hotel is right by the beach and very centrally located.

The pool area consisted of a large amount of sunbeds and two swimming pools which were very good. Bathrobes and slippers were supplied in the room and there were separate pool towels available.

Whenever asking the concierge for something the service was very friendly.

If I return I would not mind staying here again.

Not Overly Impressed

from Factual_Opinions
Booked for business travel through company mandated travel agent on advice from business associate. He thinks it's a great hotel. I disagree.
Overall the hotel is decent, but I cannot give it the four to five stars you would think a Sheraton should have.

Lobby staff were commendable as is the bellboys/security storage. No problems keeping my notebook computer locked up during my tour day away.
Free breakfast.
Plenty of shower water pressure.
I had a seaside room with great views.
Beach readily accessible...once you cross the road.

Wireless Internet is $20 US per 24-hour period. And very slow. Literally took me about three hours to move an email with a 2-3MB file (should have been seconds).
Business center had a scanner that wasn't working for some time. The lady said she had reported it several times to no avail. Scanners aren't that expensive to replace.
The bathroom wal had some oddly constructed wall tiles.
Straight shower curtain instead of curved.
Sink would not drain freely.
Breakfast was way below par. The selection was good, but the eggs were very runny, the pancakes cold a stiff, and the hard boiled egg was only half cooked.
Street below between the hotel and the beach was congested at all hours of the day and night.
Nightlife across from hotels provided unwelcome thumping.

pleasantly surprised

from SFA
I was pleasantly surprised. The room was lovely looking over the sea and the bathroom was large and renovated. The pool was closed but did not look that impressive but you are right across from the beach. I enjoyed the hotel and ther staff went out of their way to be helpful. I would definetly return.

Very friendly

from Alscot
I stayed three nights in this hotel in February. I found the staff uniformly very pleasant, but the star of the show is the lovely lady in the hotel shop.

The food in this hotel was absolutely delicious (i was running a corporate event there and the food just kept coming). The coffee machine in the room was good too.

My room was rather small but comfortable.

If you stay there, try to get a room overlooking the sea. Mine looked east over a rather shabby area of Tel Aviv. Probably not the place for a holiday as it's by a very busy road, but it's across the road from the beach and for me it was a very comfortable three days and nights.

good experience

from varvararodriques
I stayed for two nights in the Sheraton and came back 3 weeks later and stayed for another two eeks. Both times I had a good experience. The first time there was a problem with the wireless internet for which they charge $20/day. Not cheap. They reimbursed me when the server was down. The second time it worked fine, still not cheap.
The location is excellent, across the street from the beach and close to restaurants etc on Ben Yehuda and Dizengoff. The hotel has parking for $10.00/day. Parking is a real problem in Tel Aviv.
The room was fine, although there was a problem with a leaking air conditioning which they tried to fix several times. They came immediately when I called though. The first time, the room was small, better the second time. I had a room on the 20th floor with some sea view, not full front though. There was disco noise a few times until late. Not sure if it cam from the hotel bar or across the street.
Breakfast was good. Business center okay, although the wireless internet does not seem to work there, strangely enough.

Service was very pleasant, which made the overall experience nice. I would go back there.
