Great Location, needs a facelift

This hotel has a great location. The breakfast is good and they have a free internet kiosk for guests in the lobby. The rooms were a little tired though. They are small and the beds weren't very comfortable. I paid $40 per night, so I can't complain.

Drinking spot A fun Bar we stumbled upon was called the Drinkers Guild. They had a beer happy hour thing going pre 9:30 which was a big plus since most bars don't seem to even open until 10-10:30. The bar is in the Shenkin area of Tel Aviv.

Us the Egged buses to travel about. Coming from a country where we drive on the left, and being forewarned about local drivers; we decided not to take on the added hassle of driving in Israel. We went from Tel Aviv to Haifa, Akko, Ein Bokek, Jerusalem and back with absolutely no problems. The buses are clean, regular and very cheap; and we always find bus travel a great way to observe and enjoy the local people.
