Clean and Comfortable

I had an excellent 3 day stay at the Margoa Hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The proprieter, Yaakov, was delightful and very helpful. He served a nice breakfast each day. It was well located in Rehovot. I would definitely stay there again.

Homely hotel

I meant to write this review as soon as I returned - but work got in the way! Jacob who owns the Hotel could not have been more helpful and kind. Dont expect luxury but it is very homely and friendly There is all you need and very good value for money. I would have no hesitation in returning there for another holiday.

Indeed simple but comfortable

I am originally from Israel, so I am somewhat familiar with the neighborhood. The hotel is VERY small; all rooms are with two twin-type beds. The proprietor recently added Wireless Network, unsecured, so it can be used for business purpose (e-mail, VPN, etc.). Breakfast is adequate. No amenities such as fitness facility. Parking only for sub-compact cars. The main attraction of this hotel is its vicinity to the Weitzman Institute and to the Rehovot Rabin Science Park.

Simple, but comfortable

We stayed here on two occasions in 2004. The Hotel is small and accommodations are simple, but comfortable. Each room has its own bath/shower. Our room had two twin-type beds and a television set. The room was air conditioned, although, because of the pleasant weather, we did not need to use it. Breakfast is served daily in a small and simple dining area. The breakfasts consisted of hard-boiled eggs, salad, bread, juice, some fruit, coffee or tea. It was certainly adequate to start the day. The proprietor, Jacob, is a pleasant Austrian-born made who came to Israel many years. He was helpful in securing us taxis and anything else that we needed
