If there was any water in the Sea of Galilee this could be an enjoyable spot. Accommodation was basic--cheap motel or worse. Caters to young people and groups--like a summer camp--so furniture in cabins is abused. rooms moderately clean. Food is good and plentiful. Service is bare minimum although front desk folks were friendly. Good place to experience Israeli youth especially if you're not all that youthful!
Avoid it

If this business is on the edge of bankruptcy, then I can understand why. Despite the fact that they had tons of empty rooms, they kept us waiting with small children until 8 o-clock in the evening on a Saturday, with no facilities in sight, and nothing but a tank of water in the reception. The next day, even the tank of water in the reception was gone.
The synagogue was a dust-filled bomb-shelter, the spa a number pasted to the door to make appointments and the food was a stiff necked, don't dare take too much empty affair - when it existed at all... despite advertisment dinner was not an option - "because the kitchen is closed."
The one advantage, one would think, would be the beach to the sea of galilee. But the sea has so far dissappeared, it is more a trek in to a paddling pool, which in this area is noticibly polluted - it made our finger nails yellow! Of course, there were plenty of threatening signs: " no swimming without a life-guard", and indeed, there was never a life guard.
