Taxi Drivers Make the driver put the meter on. Otherwise, they can (and will) charge you whatever they want. They will put the meter on if you ask them - they have to. They won't like it, but it will save you a lot of money!

Shuttle to Airport Rather than taking a taxi, there is a shuttle service that the hotel can arrange for only $50. per person to Ben Gurion Airport.

Irish Pub Off of Ben Yehuda near the Old City is an Irish Pub. The beer is great and the food fantastic, though the latter is not Irish. The prices are great. Highly recommended for meat dinner!
