The Eldan Hotel is in a premium location, walking distance from the Old City, the City Centre, and many places of interest in Jerusalem. There are also several excellent restaurants in different price ranges within easy walking distance of the hotel. I stayed there for a week in June 2003, and was impressed with the large, clean rooms with modern furnishings, a view of the posh King David Hotel from my window, and the pleasant service at Eldan. A night's lodging includes a very nice dairy breakfast. For the traveler who wants a certain measure of comfort without a "royal" price tag, the Eldan is an excellent choice.
