I have stayed at Hotel Caesar Jerusalem by myself and also with my husband. The buffet breakfast is very nice and on my recent August 2005 visit (11 nights) we decided to have the majority of our dinners there. It was also a buffet and we were so pleasantly surprised of the cost. The complete dinner was the same price of a lunch somewhere else. The hotel has a roof-top pool which we utilized (especially on the Sabbath). This is not the fanciest hotel, but it is a hotel of over 150 rooms, with inviting lobbies, a gift shop manned by a gentleman who doesn't push you to buy, and by staff who treat you as a friend. From the front desk, restaurant and maintenance-they have always been so receptive to each need. It is so comforting when you are treated as an individual by name and not just someone who is sleeping there. It also helps that they all speak my language (English).
