I have never written a review before, but this was such an awful vacation experience, I want to share it. In fact, I left this vacation with the biggest headache, and feeling sick to my stomach at the money we wasted (we had saved up for our yearly vacation). We went to the Magic Sunrise Club for 5 days with our family (two kids, ages 2 & 4). We were very excited for our vacation, and all the wonderful activities that were supposed to be offered at this hotel. Nothing went right! When we arrived we were given a room on the 2nd floor (no elevator), even though when making the reservation we made it clear we have a child in a stroller and need a room on a first floor (and we were promised this). We were given a sheet with daily activities. We would get to an activity (my kids would be very excited), only for us to find out the activity was cancelled, the staff didn't show up, or they didn't have the materials for the activity listed. *They had a tractor ride to a petting zoo, but the tractor didn't show up. *They had necklace making for the kids, but they didn’t have any beads to make the necklace with. *They had jeep trips to the desert, but the trip was overbooked and no room for us. * They had a kids game room, but only one out of five Playstations were working (lots of fighting and tears there). *They promised Internet connection, but it was down the entire time we were there. *My husband agreed to watch the kids so I could enjoy a "painting on glass workshop". They only had enough glass jars for eight people! (We were there in high-season, the hotel was fully booked.) Out last evening we saw on the schedule there was a puppet show. I should have guessed something would go wrong, but I held out hope! We finished dinner, went back to the room, got the kids showered and changed into clothes for the puppet show. We went to the location listed on the schedule where the puppet show was to take place, and guess what… no puppet show! My daughter was so disappointed. I could not believe I rushed to get the kids showered and dressed to make the show...when I could have simply put them in pajamas. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny... just NOTHING went right! By the 3rd day we were so frustrated at the hotel, that we went into Eilat (we were planning on spending our days enjoying the hotel facilities being that we paid a lot of money for this 'all-inclusive magical holiday experience!), however the one day away from the Magic Sunrise Club was the best day of the whole trip. In addition, there were never enough chairs at the outdoor pool and I saw the lifeguard spit on the ground near the pool at the indoor swimming pool (gross). At the snack bar by the pool they only had one person working, with about 50 people yelling and pushing and shoving to get a drink or a popsicle (it was all included in the price). Not worth being crushed for this! Also, the schedule had 'cake and cookies' until 5pm listed, but when we got there at 4:45, everything was gone. When I sent a letter of complaint to the hotel (the first time I have ever done such a thing), I did receive a letter of reply, saying that we could come back to experience the "magic" for one day (not a night, just a day!) if we want. Even if they offered me a night, I wouldn't have gone back, it's nothing worth the headache. AVOID this hotel!!!
