Top Local Tips for Eilat

Shopping Mall Do not recommend the shopping mall and the food court. It is awful! Stick to the boardwalk along the high rise hotels. The restaurants there were decent and nice shops.

Europeans should go to Sharm El Sheik instead. Europeans will be bored to death after three days, and that's assuming one of those days you go to Petra.

Best Place for Shabbas Dinner The best place in Eilat for Shabbas dinner has got to be the Isrotel Royal Beach. Make sure you book in advance as it get's packed out. Speak to Hedley, the restuarant manager who is very efficient and well organised. Seating is very comfortable and the dining room quite modern. Food is amazing with a huge choice for those who like Ashkenazi food or Sephardi Food. It is quite expensive, but worth every penny.
