Hotel from hell!!!!

I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago. We booked to stay for 10 nights in July. I have never in my whole experience of staying in Israel in the last 30 odd years, had such an awful experience of Israeli hospitality! On arriving at the hotel early morning, from a flight arriving at 0530am, we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come to reception, then an additional hour for our room to be ready, although they had been informed by the travel agent that we would be arriving that time, and the room was paid for from the previous day! The reception staff were surly, inpolite, even though my husband is an Israeli. The worst part of this holiday was, the dining room, where there was food on the floor from the previous night, together with the cockroaches roaming the breakfast buffet tables, plus when the linen was finally changed in the bedroom, it was plopped onto the bed unceremoniously as it came from laundry, without being unfolded (presumably for us to make up the bed) and, wait for it, it was damp from the laundry! As we had been out of the room for the whole day touring the country and only arrived back late Friday afternoon, by the time we got to our room,. the sabbath had begun, and consequently our bed was very damp from the linen being placed on it for a considerable amount of hours, and when we contacted reception, they totally ignored us and told us to come back Saturday night when someone would be able to assist!! Do not therefore recommend going to this hotel from hell!!!!
