A great little no fuss, no frills hotel. Rooms are adequate (especially when you arrive in town late without a reservation), cheap (200 shekels or less without breakfast)and there is a good family atmosphere (e.g. the cleaner had her baby with her as she cleaned the rooms). My travelling companion WAS IN A WHEELCHAIR, BUT THIS PRESENTED NO PROBLEMS AS THERE ARE RAMPS AND A LIFT. Hotels are few and far between in Ashdod, but this was an excellent little find. If I go to Israel again, I would use this hotel as a base and then branch off from there.

The moment you enter Hotel Orly u feel like it's a home away from home. It's small hotel run by a family and they treat u as a part of their family. The facilities in the rooms are not the best u can get, but the way u are treated there compensates all other short comings.
To much surprise the Hotel provides u with free WI-FI for which 5 star hotels charge u dollars per day.
To top it, u have nice beach (Miami beach)just a walk down for 2 minutes.

Ashdod is just 40 minutes drive from Tel Aviv and u may miss some feel of a big city. Other than this hotel, Orly will be a good option for an economic stay.
