Getting to IKIA Airport from Tehran A cost effective way to get to IKIA airport from Tehran City if you are travelling light - Take the Metro (Red Line) to Haram-e-Motahar, it's the last stop on the Red-Line - ticket is 1500 Rials ($0.17!!). Takes about 35 min from Imam Khomeini Square station. Outside the Haram-e-Motahar station, you'll get a taxi to IKIA for about $7 ($5, if you bargain hard, or alternatively find some other passengers who are willing to share the cost). Incidentally this Metro Station is a stones throw from the Imam Khomeini Mausoleum, which is one of the attractions of Tehran. It's situated on the highway to the Airport which is about 20 km from here. (Distance from Tehran to IKIA - 38 kms).
