Tenby House Hotel has a fabulous website but the reality does not live up to the publicity. It is a noisy and untidy pub. The uproar from the pub went on until about 1.30 a.m. and this was folowed by drunks heading home, at about 3 a.m. there was a sports car screeching up and down the street outside and then at about 6 a.m. came the noisy street-cleaning machines. To get to our breakfast room we had to step over a huge amount of broken glass and mess in the patio area. All in all it was a total disappointment. The room was OK and the breakfast was OK but everything else was very poor. Well below the standard that we would normally expect from a three star hotel.
