I would like to make a complaint about the Bridge End hotel and the owners who have no idea of customer service. After booking and paying a deposit of £30 in February for three twin rooms for six men staying for one night Friday 13th April. We arrived on Friday night to find that only two rooms were available with the third being a double, after ringing on the Tuesday before to make sure the booking was still all right. There solution was to put a folding single bed in the room with the double bed, which I accepted at £25 for the room because of the blunder they had caused. We were on our way to the room when the landlady started verbal abuse towards me my friend , which was instigated by her daughter, saying we were causing trouble. By this time I was tired from our day out and could not be bothered with the hotels attitude so we left. This hotel is managed with incompetence, so much so that even when I confirmed my booking the week before for three twins they only had two twins and double. They offered to put a put me up bed into the double room but wanted to charge for a twin. After refusing to pay for a twin room were accused of causing trouble and ask to leave by the landlady. So we did with alot of verbal abuse coming from the landlady. So with customer service like that and not even an apology for there mistake, I shall not be visiting the Bride End Hotel ever again and I would advise people to consider the much nicer hotels and Guest houses in LLangollen that do appreciate there guests. |
