Terrible

A dirty hotel, where dogs wander in and out of the public rooms, even the dining room. Rude and arrogant staff, a disgrace to the resort.

This hotel should be called heavenlands not headlands. If you are between 18 and 88 and looking for a romantic week or weekend break, ask for the princess turret room? The views are outstanding, with a 180 degree vista of the bay and you can watch the sunrise filter through the windows at dawn.(for photographers a must).
Breakfast is 4**** and will adapt to your needs.(Tanyas eggs are gooood)The breakfast, sets you up for the day, shopping for the laddies and a few drinks for the men.
Home then for the evening meal. Once again the menu is excllent and Tanya is very flexible to meet your needs if your pallet desires.
We found, after the evening meal a walk down the prom prepaired you for a relaxing evening in the well stocked bar (by the way gents, all day, a beer if you want, don't tell the girls)
Then retire to the princess turret room and a beutiful night time view of the bay all lit up.
What a holiday, going again this year to see Ray, Tanya, Charles and family ( Ray will let you take Charles for a walk. I think Charles chooses who walks him. )
Very relaxing, very homely and a fantastic holiday.
Ask Ray about George.
By the way, thank Nev for the radio so i could listen to the match.
See you all soon, can't wait.

This is a dreadful hotel. Dogs wandering round public rooms including restaurant. Food is at best as good as a standard cafe. Damp bedcover on bed. No phone in room. Hole in ceiling. Scruffy staff. Rattling windows in the wind. I could go on and on. Not at all recommended unless you are desperate.
Poor service, unhygenic

Reception piled with rubbish, bedroom dusty and carpet covered with animal hair. Service poor, dogs in dining room, standard of decoration poor (Bedroom doors off in two rooms, huge hole in first floor ceiling etc;), food well below average for price (packet soup on an a la carte for £24.50!). I could go on and on. Don't stay here unless you love dogs!!
Fantastic traditional home cooking

I've been coming to Headlands for several years now and it continues to excel. The hotel has a magnificent position enjoying some of the finest views in North Wales but it is the owners who make the staying at Headlands such a pleasure. Tanya's cooking is exceptional and there's plenty of it.

GOING UP OR DOWN DONT TRY USING YOUR CAR ,PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE AND ANYWAY THIS HOTEL IS WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE BEACH AND TOWN WITH A HIDDEN SHORT CUT ACROSS THE ROAD WHICH TAKES YOU STRAIGHT DOWN ON TO THE BEACH FRONT . GOING UPWARDS THE GARDENS ON THE GREAT ORME AND CABLE CAR ARE ALSO EASY TO REACH BY FOOT.
Dog friendly If you are a dog owner try this hotel. they actually welcome dogs instead of turning their noses up! You wont regret it
