Castlebank Food Unless you have a restaurant you really want to visit, eat at the Castlebank. The food is reasonably priced and excellent

Distances When in Wales (and England in general) pay close attention to distances. Things are very close together and using a base of operations for a few days is better the moving from spot to spot each day to stay.

If you're travelling from the South A train return from Cardiff to Conwy is £75-plus. If you're travelling from the South of the UK, but a Wales Flexipass for £65. It covers the cost of your trip up from Cardiff/Bristol plus 4-days of train and unlimited bus travel in Wales for 8 days!
